The Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Foundation
Thank you for considering a gift to support the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital's mission.
The philanthropic efforts of Eugene Stafford Ellsworth and others resulted in the establishment of EMH in 1902 (the fourth community hospital built in Iowa).
Since that time, community members continue to rise to the occasion in support of healthcare for everyday Iowans, who have been cared for by EMH's dedicated physicians and staff for over a century.
Donor funds have supported patient care at EMH in many ways, including remodel and purchase of major equipment for the Radiology Department and Obstetrical Unit; purchase of furniture and minor equipment for Emergency, Surgery, Mental Health and Cardiac Rehabilitation Departments, Construction of the Iowa Falls Clinic; establishment of an endowment for charity care; as well as support of the general fund.
