Mitchell County Memorial Scholarship Information
$1000 in CASH BENEFITS! For Students Studying in a Medical Field
DIRECT STUDENT REIMBURSEMENT FOR BOOKS
Eligibility Checklist: Applicant must fulfill all criteria to be eligible for scholarship.
Specific Criteria:
- Be enrolled in, or accepted to a college/trade school
- Have plans to graduate with a medical degree in a specific area
- Be a member of Osage, Riceville, or St. Ansgar School Districts
- Must have a professionally formatted Resume
Scholarship Details: Payment methods, requirements for scholarship continuance.
Benefit: Applicants will be eligible for 100%, up to $500/year, in college textbook reimbursement. This benefit will be available for two (2) years of a student’s college career. The student may select the two years they prefer to have the reimbursement.
After the scholarship has been awarded, the award winner must present a receipt of purchase, or collection of receipts, of college material/books (preferable purchased from the college book store) to the Foundation Board for approval. After the receipt has been deemed reliable, a check payable to the student for the total purchase (up to $500 per year) will be sent to the student.
