Since the first hospital was established in Cresco in 1902, great strides have been made to promote, preserve and protect the health of the residents of Howard County and its surrounding areas. Hospital services in Cresco in the year 2012 offers acute and skilled medical/surgical care as well as obstetrical, emergency, rehabilitative and diagnostic services in a 25-bed critical access hospital.
