Koster, McCarthy Elected to MCRHC Board of Trustees

Osage – The November 6, 2012 Election results included Jon Koster of St. Ansgar and Betty McCarthy of Osage winning the two open seats on the Mitchell County Regional Health Center’s Board of Trustees.

Kevin Runolfson, MCRHC Chief Executive Officer, said, “I, along with my staff would like to thank Jan Moody for her 13 years as a board member for the health center.  She was always diligent in supporting our employees during both tough times and good times.  Jan also tried to remain educated in the healthcare arena and we appreciate her time and devotion to MCRHC.

According to Runolfson, MCRHC is looking at the future of healthcare in Mitchell County.

“I look forward to working with both Jon and Betty, as well as the remaining board members, to take MCRHC through the journey of changes that will occur in healthcare over the coming years,” Runolfson said.

Jon Koster was appointed to the BOT in August of 2012 to fulfill the remainder of Pat Rourick’s term, who had resigned during the July board meeting.

Koster and McCarthy will begin their six-year terms effective January 1, 2013.
